6B SCHEDULE:
Hot lunch (TACO TIME) can be ordered on-line through healtyhunger.ca. Lunches need to be ordered by Sunday, February 23 and hot lunch will be served Friday, February 28.
Friday, February 28th is a full day of school in preparation for Science Fair.
SCIENCE FAIR DAY: Saturday, February 29th. Regular start time, and students must wear their uniforms.
We switch back to Daylight Savings Time on Sunday, March 8th.

Language Arts
Language is used as a tool to make sense of our world. Through Language Learning, as a school subject,students will be given opportunities to grow in their use of language through reading quality literature, writing about their world (both from their imaginations and using literature as a model) and through oral expression.

Our first novel study this year will be on the book Slacker by Gordon Korman. Chapters will be read as a class. The corresponding questions will be assigned and due on Mondays and Thursdays. Questions are available via email if misplaced
